Shipping Update // New Flat Rates, Free Shipping, Tariffs & Challenges

I have been working on a batch of Cashmerino 20 while I mull over the new tariffs and how they will inevitably change my small business and so many others like it. It is refreshing to do something I love and do it well amongst all of the uncertainty. A bit of a reset and a lovely reminder that at the end of the day we will always have yarn to enjoy around the studio. I have a few ideas for the future and many great resources thanks to this wonderful community of makers. For now challenges remain and I thank you for your patience as I navigate through these changes. I anticipate the next shop update to happen towards the end of September or beginning of October and will include a variety of colourways of Cashmerino 20. If there is a colourway you have been waiting for leave me a comment below and I will try to include it on my list.

I have also added new individual markets for some countries to our website. You can select your currency from the drop down menu found at the top right of the page and bottom left footer. If your country and currency are unavailable prices will default to CAD.

NEW Flat Rates/Free Shipping to Canada & International Destinations

I have put together new discounted flat rates and free shipping thresholds for a limited time. These rates are subject to change at any time. Prices below are listed in CAD.

Canada - $15 flat rate / free shipping on orders $200+

United Kingdom - $30 flat rate / free shipping on orders $300+

Japan - $30 flat rate / free shipping on orders $300+

Australia & New Zealand - $35 flat rate / free shipping on orders $350+

EU and Other International - $30 flat rate / free shipping on orders $300+

USA - shipping is currently paused (A new flat rate and free shipping threshold will be available for orders to the USA once shipping resumes.)

Please note we do not ship to all international locations, if shipping is unavailable to your country and you would like to place an order please email us to confirm if we can ship to you.

Shipping Outside Of Canada

Duties, Taxes & Refused Packages

International orders may incur duties, taxes and fees upon arrival and the recipient will be required to pay them directly upon delivery. If the recipient refuses payment and the order is returned to us we will offer to reship the order for an additional shipping payment. If you would like to cancel your order a store credit will be issued minus the initial shipping payment as well as the return shipping payment we must make to receive the return.

United Kingdom

A minimum purchase amount of £135 (approximately $250 CAD) has been set in order to comply with the UK VAT rules. Orders below this threshold require us to be registered to collect VAT at check out, which we are not at this time. For orders above £135/$250CAD UK customs will charge and collect the applicable sales tax and customs fees directly from the recipient upon arrival. USA

Orders to the USA are currently paused as I work to ensure shipments are compliant with the changing tariff and duties directives and the removal of the “de minimis” threshold. A new flat rate and free shipping threshold will be available for orders to the USA once shipping resumes. All of our yarns are USMCA/CUMSA compliant (milled and hand dyed in Canada) and are eligible for free trade (no tariffs) under the current agreement. I fully intend to resume shipping to the USA once I can guarantee tariff exemption and delivery at an affordable rate.
